The right foot rest fulcrum shaft
receiver and the left one differ from
each other. Check the difference
before starting work.

Attaching the foot rest cover

Mounting foot rest

Lift the seat. Align the fastener at the
upper end of the foot rest cover with
that on the main body, and close the
fastener.

By using the supplied T-shaped
wrench, securely fasten the foot rest
with the foot rest mounting screws.
(Although the figure illustrates the
right side of the seat, also work in the
same way for the left side.)

With the thread holes of the foot rest
fulcrum shaft facing upward, lift the
foot rest and set the foot rest fulcrum
shaft to the foot rest fulcrum shaft
receivers of the main machine. Mount
the foot rest to the main machine by
using the mounting screws at the por-
tions

.

When mounting the foot rest, make sure
that the wires between the main ma-
chine and the foot rest are not pinched
between the foot slide and the foot
move up/down cell lifter. After mounting,
slightly lift the foot rest in an oblique
direction, and check the condition on
the right side and on the left side.

After raising the reclined back rest, be sure to confirm that the main power switch is turned off.

Before dismounting and mounting the foot rest, confirm that the main power switch is turned “OFF,” and
then disconnect the power cable from the receptacle while also disconnecting the connector of the
power cable from the inlet.

Failure to follow this instruction may damage the power cable, possibly causing fire or electric shock.

When dismounting and mounting the foot rest, pay attention not to get your hand or finger pinched

between the main machine and foot rest.

Positively insert the connector all the way to the back. Securely tighten the mounting screws as well.

Failure to follow these instructions may cause an accident, injury or failure to occur.

CAUTION

When dismounting the foot rest and the foot rest cover, follow the above steps in the reverse order.

First, insert a Phillips-head screwdriver to the slot of the head of the push return
rivet and turn the driver counterclockwise to lift the head. The head protrudes
after one turn of the screwdriver. The push turn rivet can be removed by pulling it
upward.
If the head cannot be turned with a Phillips-head screw driver, it may be possible
to lift and turn the head by inserting a flat-blade screwdriver or the like in the
clearance between the push turn rivet and the foot rest connector cover.
An attempt to forcefully remove the push turn rivet may cause damage or injury.
Therefore, do not forcefully remove the push turn rivet.
