switch on the back of the phone controls the volume.  You can set the

"RINGER"

 switch to "

" for a high volume ring, "

Md

" for a middle volume ring or "

Off

" to

turn the ringer off.

The Visual ringer flashes for all incoming calls regardless of  the ringer setting.

Important Note

:  If you turn the "

RINGER

" switch to "

OFF

" and you do not have any other

phones that ring you will not hear the phone ring when a call comes.

Adjusting the Ringer Tone

You set the ringer tone to high or low by moving the Ringer Tone switch at the back of
phone.

Adjusting Handset Receiver Volume

To adjust the handset receiver volume:
1.  Lift the handset and listen to the dial tone.
2.  Press the top side of the

Vol.

button to increase the receiver volume.

Selecting the Best Volume and Tone Amplification Setting

Warning: Excessive handset receiver volume in amplification mode.

When increasing handset receiver volume, sounds of all frequencies are amplified equally.
With frequency-specific tone amplification, the high frequency sounds are amplified more
than the low frequency sounds so words are not just louder, but clearer and easier to
understand.

By combining the normal volume amplification and frequency-specific tone amplification,
you can select an amplification setting that is the most suitable for your hearing needs.

To select the best volume and tone amplification setting:
1.  Lift the handset and make a call to a person with typical voice volume in a phone call.
2. Press

the

Amp

button to enter, if not in tone amplification mode.

3.  Press the top side of the

Vol.

button to increase handset receiver volume or press the

bottom side to decrease it.

4.  Press the top side of the

Tone

button to increase frequency specific tone

amplification, or press the bottom side to decrease it.

5.  Stop adjustment when you can hear words most clearly.
