ENGINE REMOVAL
FROM FRAME
WORKSHOP MANUAL
TL 250
Remove the screws fastening the engine to the frame in the
order described in the figure BO.
• Clean up any trace of coolant that might have spilled onto the
engine, frame or wheels.
• Remove the screws and take off the drive sprocket guard BL.
• Remove the sprocket and chain.
Note:
Make a mental note of the drive sprocket's position before
removing it. You will need to refit it in the same position to
get the same wear direction.
• Disconnect the engine's cabling and clutch cable BM.
• Disconnect the carburettor from the intake BN.
