3. OPERATION
Activation with dry-contact (with timer)

When the electric handle is disabled (in neutral) the red LED is on. By pressing and
releasing the opening button, the LED becomes green and the handle allows door
opening. This condition lasts for the set time (5 to 60 seconds), or until the handle is
activated for the first time. Press again the opening button to reopen.
The use of a fairlead is recommended (part no.8594C).

TIMER SETTING
The electric handle is equipped with an internal timer allowing to keep the handle
enabled for the time selected by the user.
4.1 Timer setting at 0 seconds

Connect the N.O. programming button (not included) to the blue wire and to the
green wire of the ground signals (GND).

.Connect the electric handle to the power supply (grey and white wires).

The red LED of the electric handle is on. Press the programming button until the LED
becomes blue. Release the programming button immediately. The LED lights up for
about one second to confirm programming. In this mode the electric handle remains
enabled for the duration of the electrical pulse only.
4.2 Timer setting from 5 to 60 seconds

Connect the N.O. programming button (not included) to the blue wire and to the
green wire of the ground signals (GND).

Connect the electric handle to the power supply (grey and white wires).

The red LED of the electric handle is on. Press the programming button until the
LED becomes blue. Keep the button pressed; the LED double flashes, each flash
corresponding to 5 seconds. Release the programming button once the timing desired
is achieved. The LED flashes according to the selected timing to confirm program-
ming. In this mode the electric handle remains enabled for the selected time or until
the first activation.
