Steam ironing
1. Take hold of the handle of the water tank
and press the tank release button with your
finger, then pull out the water tank. Open the
filler cap and fill the water tank with water. It
is preferable to use purified water containing
less calcium. Then close the filler cap. The
maximum capacity of the water tank is 1.8 L,
the water level should not exceed the MAX
mark.
Note:
If the water in your area is very hard, we
advise you to mix it with an equal amount of
distilled water.
2. Reinsert the removable water tank carefully.
Note:
If the water tank is not inserted correctly,
the iron will not produce steam.
3. Place the iron on the heat insulation pad of
the steam unit.
4. Plug the power cable of the appliance into a
mains socket, the heating indicator lights up.
5. Turn the temperature button to the desired
setting depending on the type of fabric (see
the IRONING TIPS below). The plate starts
to heat up and the heating indicator lights
up.
USE OF YOUR STEAM UNIT
The appliance comprises two types of ironing.
You can use it to dry iron or steam iron. Follow
these steps:
Dry ironing
1. Place the iron on the heat insulation pad of
the steam unit.
2. Plug the power cable into a mains socket, the
heating indicator lights up.
3. Turn the temperature button to the desired
setting depending on the type of fabric (see
the IRONING TIPS below). The plate starts
to heat up and the heating indicator lights
up.
4. When the heating indicator goes out, this
indicates that the chosen temperature has
been reached and you can start ironing.
NOTE: Do not use the device continuously for 1
hour.
WARNING: Never touch the hot plate until it has
cooled down!
