You can choose how the chart should be positioned on your screen, click on the Link
button at the bottom of the screen to access the Link Menu.

Chart Up
: The chart image is oriented so that the top of the original paper
chart is also the top of your screen
x
North Up
: True north is straight up on your screen. For most charts, this is
the same as chart up. However, some paper charts, notably charts of rivers,
were drawn with north facing in another direction. In such cases, the chart
image is rotated as necessary to achieve north up orientation.

Course Up
: The chart rotates as necessary so that the vessel always points
and/or moves towards the top of the screen
Aerial Pictures
As you view your charts, you may occasionally come across small blue camera
symbols.
These are picture icons. Each picture icon is a link to an aerial picture of that chart
location. Touch the picture icon to view the photograph. Touch the screen again to
return to the chart display.
The arrow extending from the camera symbol indicates the direction in which the camera
was pointing when the picture was taken.
