TROUBLESHOOTING
General Chart
NOTE: If a problem is encountered that is difficult to solve, even after having read through this troubleshooting
section, please call your local distributor or dealer. Before you call, please have this Operator’s Manual
and the serial number of your equipment at hand.

Instructions are necessary before operating or servicing equipment. Read and understand the
Operator’s Manual and safety signs (decals) on equipment. Follow warnings and instructions in the
manuals when making repairs, adjustments or servicing. Check for correct function after
adjustments, repairs or service. Untrained operators and failure to follow instructions can cause
injury or death.
PROBLEM
CAUSE
CORRECTION
Disc pulls to left-hand or right-hand
side of tractor.
Rear row of blades is not set correctly
per soil condition.
Adjust rear blade row to left or right.
Front and rear blades are not running
at the same depth.
Check stops on hitch cylinders vs stops
on left-hand rear attachment cylinder.
Check blade depth setting chart.
Pintle is not in correct location in hitch
bracket.
Check pintle setting per chart per
drawbar height.
Hitch frame rockshaft cylinders are not
in float mode.
Shift hitch frame rockshaft cylinders
hydraulic lever in tractor into float mode.
Blades are not cutting at an even
depth across width of disc.
Wing fold cylinders are not in float
mode.
Shift wing fold cylinders hydraulic lever
in tractor into float mode.
Blades are digging in at front outer
wings.
Wing tire pressure is low.
Set tire pressure to 46 psi.
Cylinders will not raise center frame.
Excessive dirt/debris build up or
blockages on machine.
Clear blockages and excessive dirt
build up.
When going in or out of transport,
hitch tires try to lift off the ground.
Wing fold cylinders are not in float
mode.
Shift wing fold cylinders hydraulic lever
in tractor into float mode.
Hydraulic jack cylinder will not hold
hitch up.
Check that hydraulic lever in tractor is
not in float.
Move lever, use lock-up valves on hitch.
Hydraulic jack cylinder raises and
lowers hitch too fast.
Incorrect hydraulic fitting in cylinder.
Ensure orifice fitting is at cylinder port.
Hydraulics will not operate.
Hydraulic lock-up valves closed.
Couplers not connected properly.
Broken and or leaking hoses/fittings.
Open hydraulic lock-up valves on hitch.
Check and re couple hoses to tractor.
Fix broken hoses/leaking connections.
Leaking hydraulic fluid.
Male tip case drain coupler is not
connected to tractor. Broken hoses or
loose fittings.
Connect case drain coupler to tractor.
Replace broken hoses/fittings/O-rings.
