4. Step:
Resetting is completed when all the throttles
are aligned.
Note:
Although the slide cover throttle and gear
adjustments described above affect the spread amount, it
should not be used for this purpose. The primary
objective of the hopper adjustments is to enable a regular
and stable fertilizer flow and to prevent the potential
deviations in the spread amount. The amount of fertilizer
should be adjusted with the “flow rate (amount of fertilizer
to be spread) adjustment” procedure described in 2
nd
Step.
C.1.2.3. Gear Adjustment
Adjust the seed gears according to the seed type to be
planted.
Each hopper has 3 gears. These gears are located in 1
narrow (in the middle) and 2 large (in right and left)
positions.
Such gears can be used as single (narrow gear) while
the large gears in right and left positions can be used as
single or double in coordination with the narrow gear
depending on the type and size of the seed to be
planted depending on the type and size of the seed to
be planted.
The gears are enabled or disabled via black tab on
the large gears.
The large gear is enabled when the black tab is pulled
inwards (top left image).
The large tab is disabled when the black tab is
pulled out (bottom left image).
