C.7.2. Harrow Pressure Adjustment
Harrow pressure is adjusted by changing the position of the
frame connection slots (8) on the profile to which the harrow
spring (2) and the pressure adjustment plate (1) are
connected.
Harrow spring (2) and pressure adjustment plate (1) can
be switched to 8 different positions by changing the
location, position and connection modes. The harrow
pressure decreases when the harrow spring (2) is taken
back by taking the machine moving direction as
reference, and the pressure increases when it is taken
forward.
When the pressure obtained by changing the position
remains insufficient, the harrow hardness can be
maximized by fastening the harrow spring (2) with the
pressure adjustment plate (1) to each other.
Fastening is applied over the counter slots (7) on the
harrow spring and pressure adjustment plate. Fastening
is completed by aligning the slots and by using M8-30
bolt and an appropriate fibered nut.
Note:
Fastening the spring and plate to each other
increases the harrow pressure by decreasing the
flexibility of the elements. This situation must be
considered since it will make the harrow springs more
fragile than in the normal use.
WARNING:
The harrows pressure is set to medium-low level
in the factory (as default). You can change the harrow
pressure in positive or negative direction, if needed.
C.7.3. Harrow Height Adjustment
The harrow system is designed to allow changing
the height position in order to tolerate the wears due
to use in harrow bars (5).
The harrow bars (5) that are shortened due to wear can
continue working by maintaining their performance with
the position of the harrow block (3) to which they are
connected, on the harrow spring (2). Hence, the harrow
bars achieve a service life of up to 4500 hectares under
optimum conditions.
Follow the procedure steps below to change the
position of the harrow bars:
1. Step:
Remove the 2 m10 bolts fastening the harrow
block (3) to the harrow spring (2).
