12. Repeat the steps to remove the hem from the
remaining corners of the main cover as previously

13. With additional help, snug the cover into position by
simultaneously pulling on the bonnet straps to seat the
cover on the frame and over the end rafters.
MAIN COVER INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
TWIST-OF-THE-WRIST ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Gather the parts:
• Aluminum channel (#102570) and drive handle
(#102480)
• Gearbox (#103496) and gearbox double drive
(#102717)
• Mounting plate (#103544) and bearing assembly
(#102569)
• Threaded rod (#FAK26), 3/8" nuts (#FALB04B) and
3/8" flat washers.
• Fabric clips (#CC6212) (Divide the remaining quantity
in half; use half for each side.)
• 5/16'' x 2-1/2" carriage bolts (FAH320B) and 5/16" nuts
(#FALB32B).
• Drill and drill bits
The Twist-of-the-Wrist Assembly is designed to roll up
a portion of the sides of the cover. The following steps
describe the installation of one assembly.
1. Locate remaining conduits–previously assembled–and
insert one into one roll-up conduit pocket of the cover.
2. Drill a 5/16" hole 1/2" from the end of the conduit where
the roll-up handle and gearbox will be located.
3. Insert a tubing adapter [part of (#102717) double drive]
into the conduit and align the holes of the adapter with
the drilled holes in the conduit.
4. Select one aluminum channel (#102570) and drill a 3/8"
hole through the channel approximately 2" from the
end. Attach a threaded rod (#FAK26) to the channel
using a 3/8" nut on each side of the channel.

14. Feed the pre-installed bonnet straps of the cover into
the ratchets attached at the corners of the frame and
tighten enough to hold the cover in place. Do not
tighten completely at this time. Remove excess strap
as needed to prevent binding in the ratchet.
15. Move to the inside of the shelter and evenly tighten the
ratchets until the cover is tight.
NOTE:
If the strap binds up in the ratchet, loosen the
ratchet by opening it all the way, then cut some of the
strap off. Re-tighten the ratchet.
16. Move to the ratchets on the outside of the end
rafters and tighten them evenly to pull the cover tight
lengthwise.
17. Continue with Twist-of-the-Wrist Assembly Installation
instructions.
