Film Cover Installation
INSTALL IR/AC FILM COVER
IMPORTANT:
Before installing the cover, verify that the following have been installed: ridge vent, end wall frame,
and end wall cladding. Only after these items have been installed should you continue with the cover installation.
Greenhouse includes two film types. Install the IR/AC film first!
Gather the parts:
Main cover material and spring (#102198)
Ropes long enough to reach over the frame (provided by customer)
Install the IR/AC main cover. Ropes or straps are typically used to pull the main cover onto and over the frame.
Complete these steps to install the first layer of film:
1. Verify that the vent frame is closed/down. Cover will be longest on the vent side of the frame. Cover that section of
the roof first.
Cover is typically cut to length after it is secured to the first side of the frame.
WARNING:
To prevent damage to the cover and to prevent serious personal injury,
DO NOT attempt to install the main cover on windy or stormy days.
Install this vent side first.
NOTE:

longer than 48' typically require more than three (3) assistants even when conditions are ideal. Adjust these steps
as needed to safely and properly install the cover.

IMPORTANT!
During cover installation, install the IR/AC film first! Examine the film and install it according
to the instructions printed on the film.
