Main gear shift lever (5)
The main gearshift lever is used to select any of four forward or one reverse gear ratio. See figure
below for the gear shift positions.
External hydraulics control lever (6)
For detailed operating instructions, see section 4.5.2.
Front drive engagement lever (7)
This is used to engage the front drive and has two positions:
upwards
– disengaged downwards – engaged
Differential lock pedal (8)
The differential lock mechanically locks the rear wheels together to avoid slip of one wheel. Hold
down the differential lock pedal until the lock Is felt to engage. The lock will automatically disengage
when traction at rear wheels equalizes.
Hydraulic lift control levers (9, 10)
These levers are used to control the action of the tractor three-point linkage. External lever (close to
mudguard) is the Position Control lever (9) and the internal (closer to operator’s seat) is the Draft
Control lever (10). For detailed operating instructions, see section 4.5
– Hydraulic system.
PTO clutch lever (11)
Tractors are fitted with double-disc clutch in which PTO output shaft is actuated with a lever. To
engage PTO output shaft, pull the clutch lever lock upward and shift the lever forward. To disengage
pull lever backwards.
Range lever (12)
The range lever is used to select high (H) or low (L) gear range.. Select the range according to the
load and speed requirement. See figure below for the gear shift positions.
Operator’s seat adjusting lock lever (13)
Pull the lever to adjust o
perator’s seat distance from the steering wheel.
Parking brake lever (14)
Parking brake is used to lock the tractor rear wheels for parking and/or stationary operation. To
engage the parking brake, press brake pedals down (4 & 5) and pull the hand lever up. To release
parking brake press button at the end of parking brake lever and move the lever down.
NOTE:
The front drive should only be used when operating in field conditions. Do not operate the
tractor in four wheel drive on the road (with the exception of uphill driving) as this may lead
to premature wear of front tyres and excessive fuel consumption.
