Tractor drawbar
(6 - Fig. 4.6.2)
– is used for hitching trailed machines and implements. There are
two positions of drawbar (extended and folded). When extended, the distance from drawbar pin axis
to PTO shaft end is 400 mm and permissible vertical load on drawbar is 5 kN. In folded position the
distance is 350 mm and permissible vertical load is 8 kN (Fig. 4.7). This position enable to attach
PTO driven machines and implements base on single axle trailer.
Multi-hole drawbar
– is used only for hitching light weight agricultural implements.
NOTE:
When towing, ensure setting multi-hole drawbar below tractor rear axle, to maintain
tractor stability. It is not allowed to attach implements which can raise multi-hole
drawbar during operation.
