Unscrew the screws as shown—only as much as is necessary to swing open the clip. Put the clip around
own belt if you choose to carry the Mobile PC in this way. It can also be mounted on the straps of a
backpack or similar. Close the clip and safely fasten the screws.
WARNING:
The Mobile PC has three air vents: one on the front and one on each side. The vents must
not be obstructed while the Mobile PC is switched on. If the vents are obstructed, the
device may overheat, causing damage and a fire.
Insert the mounting plate that is attached to your device into the clip. Make sure that you hear it click
into place. Ensure that the clip is fully locked. For additional safety you can tighten the remaining screw
on the right side of the clip.
To unlock the clip. push the button

. While pushing you can slide off the mounting plate from the
clip.
Prepare the Smartphone
Your phone is held in place on the Freestyle 2 with a magnet. You must attach a metallic sticker
(included with the Freestyle 2 kit) to the back of your phone so that it is attracted to the magnet. If you
keep your phone in a protective cover, you can also attach the sticker to the cover, as long as the cover
holds the phone securely. (The sticker must have direct, complete contact with Freestyle 2, otherwise the
phone will not be held firmly in place).
