• If combining data with scans from the FARO Focus scanner, allow for data overlap.
• While using markers (especially for long trajectories) make sure targets have different orientation (horizontal-
vertical) - It will greatly improve the constraint.
• You can also detect markers as anchor points. While pointing at markers or the reference plate, just press the
button to the right and the markers will be shown in the 3D view as the anchor points mentioned above. Coming
back to those anchor points in a scan, they will colorized green if the software has found and aligned them again.
Directly after scanning, the scan will be better aligned, even before post-processing. This helps to get a better visual
impression after scanning.
