6.3.1.6 Scanner Info
Scanner: Provides the name of the scanner.
Revision: The revision number of the
scanner.
Scanner Type: The type of scanner.
Serial Number: The scanner's serial
number. This will be individual for each
scanner.
Range: The theoretical unambiguity range of
the scanner. The actual distance range is
dependant on the scanner type.
Compensation: The name of the current
compensation file used.
Overall scans: Shows the number of overall
scans made by this scanner.
6.3.1.7 Scanner Settings
Dist. Offset: Contains the distance offset
value. This value is applied to the distance
measurement to adjust for the scanner’s
physical characteristics.
Dist. Factor: This value is applied to the
distance measurement to adjust for the
environments physical characteristics.
Trigger Offs.: Synchronizes the firing of the
laser with the mirror motor.
Mirror Adj.: An angular measure for the
alignment of the scan half’s.
Hor. Axis Adj.: An angular measure for the
relative sizes of the scan halves.
Hor. Laser Adj.: An angular measure for the
relative sizes of the scan halves.
Vert. Laser Adj.: An angular measure for
the relative sizes of the scan halves.
Hor. Motor Speed Factor: The speed ratio
of the horizontal motor.
