The vertical and horizontal ranges are the same as in FARO Record.
•
Distance Range: is the maximum distance range of points which will be
taken.
•
Resolution: Resolution of the scanner.
•
Size: The number of rows and columns will be recalculated automatically
when pressing Apply and Automatic mode is enabled. If you want to change
the number of columns manually you should disable Automatic mode. Please
note that changing the number of columns manually results in scans which
have no 1:1 ratio between rows and columns. It is recommended to use this
only in special circumstances.

Min. Reflection: Will filter out scan points with reflection value lower than
given here.
•
Eye Safety Dist.: This eye safety distance gives the radius of safe operating
area known from FARO Record. Please note that the eye safety distance is
calculated only after pressing the Apply button!

If the scanner is equipped with the color option, you can checkmark the option Scan
with Color in order to get a colored scan. Using this checkbox corresponds to clicking
the button Start scan with color in FARO Record.
Before you start you have to choose the right camera mount (Non-winding or no
parallax) on tab Camera in the Scanner Parameter dialog using FARO Record (see
