If you connect to a prepaid FARO Laser Scanner, the FARO Record software will allow
you to check and to recharge your prepaid account. The scanner will only perform a
scan, if there are still scans available on your prepaid account. After the scan the
number of scans available will be decremented. You can fill your prepaid account by
sending a Prepaid Key to the scanner with the FARO Record software. Prepaid Keys
can only be obtained from FARO. Each Prepaid Key is individual for a specific scanner
and contains the number of scans that will be added to the prepaid account.
