SAFETY STANDArDS
No harmful substances are used in the sterilization process. We recommend you avoid
contact with the content of the discharge tanks.
- Introduce in the sterilization chamber only products resistant to heat that do not release
hazardous substances. Always check that the products can be sterilized consulting the
technical specifications provided by the manufacturer.
- Never introduce in the chamber substances or products containing heavy metals (lead,
mercury, bromine, hexavalent chromium). The release of these products may contaminate
the hydraulic circuit of the autoclave and damage it permanently.
- Service and repairs should be carried out by authorized staff of Faro S.p.A. The list of
centers authorized to carry out service and repairs is available on the website
www.faro.it
in the section TECHNICAL SUPPORT/LIST OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT CENTERS.
The use must request the intervention of authorized centers only.
- Autoclaves should be used exclusively by staff who undergone suitable training on
how to use this manual. Training should be provided by the medical centre in which the
autoclave is installed.

NEVER REUSE THE USED WATER.
- All the objects should be decontaminated and carefully cleaned and dried before being
sterilized.
- If there are clustered instruments, such should be divided or however arranged in a
position as ventilated as possible.
- Shirts or other reusable fabric should be washed and dried after use and before sterilization
to remove any organic material and increase the useful life of the fabric by restoring its
natural water content (the level of moisture).
The device, in its packaging, supports the following environmental conditions for a
period of no more than 15 weeks:
Environmental temperature from -20°C to +70°C
Relative humidity from 10% to 90%
Atmospheric pressure from 500 to 1060 mBar.
The device must be used in the following environmental conditions:
- indoor use
- altitude up to 3000 m
- temperature from 5° to 40°C
- max relative humidity 85%
- max variation in mains voltage ± 10%
- installation category (surge category) II
- pollution level I
Do not carry out maintenance operations other than those outlined in the manual.
Any intervention not indicated in the manual could compromise the safety aspect,
planned for the device. For all operations not specified, contact technical support.
N.B. Non-compliant use with that indicated in the user manual could prejudice the
safety level of the device. Do not make changes to the device.
The product must be used according to specifications in this manual, in compliance
with planned use.
The user is responsible for installation and maintenance and fulfilling the laws rele

vant to the device. Faro cannot be held liable for damage to property and/or people
caused by the incorrect use of the product as described in this manual. Non-com

pliance with the specifications in this manual means any manufacturer liability and
product guarantee becomes null and void.
