Faronics Core User Guide
2. Click on
Install Core Agent
in the Action pane. The
Create Core Agent
dialog is displayed with
the following options:

Event Reporting Connection
— This field displays the server to which the workstation
communicates. This field cannot be edited.
—
Core Server Connection
— This field displays the port on which the Core Agent listens. The
default port is 7751.
—
Wake-on LAN Across Subnets
— Select this check box if the workstation will act as a
Wake-on-LAN (WOL) Relay. For more information on the Wake-on-LAN feature, refer to
WOL Web Service Tab
.
—
Network Traffic Management
— Select the
Max frequency of reports:
in minutes and
seconds.
Set the above values/options and click
OK
.
3. The Remote Agent Installation dialog is displayed with the following options:
— Select the
Remember these credentials
check box to save the Remote Agent credentials.
— Select the
Local Workstation Account
if you want the Core Agent to use the Local
Workstation Account to install Core Agent on the selected workstation. Specify the
Username
and
Password
.
— Select
Domain Account
to use a Domain Account. Specify the Domain, Username and
Password.
