OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for:
110-240V AC, 50/60HZ, 40W
When plugging the appliance into the outlet prior to use, be aware that the
appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
BASIC OPERATIONS
Plug the appliance into the outlet prior to use.
Use + or – button to manually adjust heat settings.
For access to preset settings press the mode button. Preset temperatures
are coded based on hair type.
For Fine hair set to 180°C/356°F
For Medium hair set to 200°C/392°F
For Coarse hair set to 220°C/428°F
This iron features rapid Infrared Ray heating from the Ceramic heater, and
uses the Ceramic coated plates to protect the condition of the hair.
MAINTENANCE
Your appliance is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Keep
heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source and
wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior
to use.
When in frequent daily use, set the iron on a thermal mat or other proper
surface.
Electrical converters
CANNOT
be used.
If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair the tool yourself.

GROUND INSTRUCTIONS, SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED
APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided
instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated
appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance.
