2.3 How to Turn OFF the System

1.How to Turn OFF the System
Use the Shutdown function of the Windows2000 to turn OFF the system safely.
-Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Delete] keys of the keyboard simultaneously to display

and select
"Shutdown"
-Select
“
Shutdown
”
from the
“
Start
”
button.
2.Restoring Power to the System
-Press the POWER switch to start the system when the AC power switch is ON. Please wait for more than 10 seconds
to restore power to the system after turning OFF the system.
-Turn on the AC power switch to start the system after turning off the AC power. Please wait for more than
30 seconds to restore power to the system after turning OFF the system.
-Power to the system after cutting power delivery when the AC power switch is ON. Please wait for more than
30 seconds to restore power to the system after cutting power delivery.
Do not turn OFF the AC power switch until the shutdown process has been completed, otherwise, the file unit(HDD)
may have a terminal breakdown.

Turn OFF the POWER switch on the front or the AC power switch on the back, after verifying that the HDD display
LED light is out.
2.Restoring Power to the System
-Press the POWER switch to start the system when the AC power switch is ON. Please wait for more than 10 seconds
to restore power to the system after turning OFF the system.
-Turn on the AC power switch to start the system after turning off the AC power. Please wait for more than
30 seconds to restore power to the system after turning OFF the system.
-Power to the system after cutting power delivery when the AC power switch is ON. Please wait for more than
30 seconds to restore power to the system after cutting power delivery.
Do not turn OFF the AC power switch until the shutdown process has been completed, otherwise, the file unit(HDD)
may have a terminal breakdown.
Backup Copy of Files
Note
Backing-up your files is recommended to prevent damage to the CompactFlash Card. If the system region of the
CompactFlash Card is damaged, re-writing is required at our facility.
