Green LED for system status
1. One flash per 0.5 second
:
when the appliance is booting.
2. One flash per 1.0 second
:
when the appliance is being shutdown.
3. One flash per 2.0 second
:
when the appliance is being re-building.
4. Always on
:
when the appliance is ready.
Red LED for System alert
1. W hen appliance booting, the red LED will turn on 1 second that the BIOS is
POST (power on self test), then the LED changes to green.
2. One flash per 0.5 second
:
when one of the redundant power supplies fails
at normal operation. And the appliance will generate a buzzer to alarm the
administrator. The buzzer can be disable by pressing the button at the rear
panel outlet once.
3. One flash per 1.0 second
:
when one or more of the 4 Fans fail. Fans 1 to 2
are on the backplane. Fan 3 is the chassis fan and Fan 4 is the CPU fan.

The red LED is continuously on when the appliance is identified. The
unique design finds out the appliance quickly and makes it in control. This
can be done by FASTORA Filer.

1.
This green LED is continuously on when the
HDD is identified.
2.
This green LED flashes when there is transmit or
receive activity from drive.
3.
This green LED is off when there is no drive in this
drive bay.
Red LED for HDD activity status

This red LED is continuously on when this HDD
fails. In this situation, you need to replace with a new
drive.
