Safety warning
WARNING: It is absolutely mandatory that the installation of the product and the electrical system are designed and
implemented by qualified technicians, in compliance with regulations in effect in the country where installation takes place.
Install the CT1 in a dry place free from any risk of water damage. If installed outdoors, it must have protection from the rain.
As an option, the CT1 can be furnished with protection from rain and water (Protection rating IP34).
1.5.
Disposal of product
Please dispose of your product in a manner most compatible with the environment and in accordance with
federal or state laws, reusing parts and recycling components and materials when possible.
When this crossed-out waste bin symbol is attached to a product it signifies the product should be disposed of
in a separate container from other waste. The sorted waste collection of the present device is organized and
managed by the manufacturer. Users who wish to dispose of their present device should contact the
manufacturer and follow the procedure indicated for separate waste collection.
Ensuring proper sorted waste collection, in accordance with environmental standards, for the disposal of
further devices helps to protect the environment and the health of persons from any damaging effects. It also
favors the reuse and recycling of materials. Administrative sanctions, in accordance with regulations in effect,
will be applied for any improper or abusive disposal of the product on part of the holder.
1.6.
Compliance with EC regulations
The
CT-1
meets the necessary requirements for electromagnetic Compatibility and Security regarding electronic
equipment, according to European directives:

Install the
CT1

When mounting to the wall:
•
Select the proper position, keeping in mind the route of the connecting cables (
CT1
power supply cable and
cable of the device needing to be controlled). See chapter
3 for information on connection.
•
Remove the metal protection case by unscrewing the three screws indicated in Fig 1.
•
Fasten the
CT1
via the 4 holes located at the back, as indicated in
Fig 2. Make sure the device is fastened
vertically in order that it functions properly when coins are inserted.
•
Proceed with the electrical connections as indicated in chapter 3.
•
Replace the metal protection case as indicated in Fig 1.

LECTRICAL
CONNECTIONS

The cables entering the CT1 through the appropriate grommets (Fig 2) must be double isolation cables.
To access the connection terminals the metal protection case must be removed by unscrewing the 3 screws indicated
in Fig 1.
There are 3 separate circuits, as follows:
3.1.
The protection conductor circuit (PE) for grounding
The protection conductor (PE) for grounding must not have a cross section inferior to that of the other conductors
entering the
CT1
.
Connect the grounding conductor to the appropriate ring terminal provided, as indicated in Fig 3 or Fig 4. The terminal
provided is suitable for cables with cross sections of 2.5 - 6mm
