However it is possible to insert a different number of address to
assign to the point if available.
Check the detector control value and give “
Ok
”.
Software will automatically check and search. (all the devices with
address zero flash signal).
Push the micro-button of input/output modules or bring the magnet
near the reed so that there is a long flash signal to assign the
address and acknowledge it to control panel.
Whenever there is a point assignment or addressing, the control

Repeat the above-mentioned procedure up to the last consecutive
expected addressing.

The installed detectors with out of range
values are identified out of service. See

Starting, identification and addressing of
the point. See manual on page 33.
During the acquisition phase, the device will visualize through a Led light, the address being acquired.4 more
intense flashes indicate and sub-divide the hundred count for the points, for the tens you will see short sequence
light flashes instead. By correctly counting the brief light flash impulse; you can determine the address in
acquisition phase without returning to the Control panel itself. Following is a step-by-step flash sequence legend
to show as an example a point to acquire with address (point n°24 per say).
Hundreds = 0
Tens = 2
Units = 4

Address acquired:
0x100 + 2x10 + 4x1 = 24
Other points with address zero
Point with address zero to acquire
This is the sequence:
•
all devices which carry 0 address will flash;
•
bring the test magnet close to the internal reed or press the button until you see a constant Led light;
•
count the brief flashes which represent the Hundreds until the next constant Led light;
•
count the shorter interval flashes to determine the tens and wait till the next constant Led light;
•
count the really short sequence flashes to determine the ones (or single units) until the next constant
Led light is on;
•
two flashes indicate that the detector has acquired the address;
•
all devices (detectors) with 0 address including the device your are working on; stop flashing. During
this action or phase the Control Panel acquires the point (detector);
•
a brief flash will confirm the end of the acquisition procedure;
•
the acquired point (detector) will stop flashing, while the other with 0 address will start lashing again.
