CAUTION
D
o not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode.
Do not open or damage the battery. Released electrolyte is harmful to
skin and eyes.
Batteries may present a risk of electric shock or high short-circuit
current. Observe the following precautions when handling batteries.
a)
Remove watches, rings, and other metal objects.
b)
Use tools with insulated handles.
c)
Wear rubber gloves and boots.
d)
Do not place tools or metal parts on the battery.
e)
Disconnect the charging source before connecting or disconnecting
the battery terminals.
f)
If the battery is inadvertently grounded, remove the grounded
source. Contact with any part of a grounded battery could result in
electric shock. This potential for electric shock can be reduced if
grounding is removed during installation and maintenance. This
applies to equipment or remote battery equipment whose power
circuits are not grounded.
