5.5. Setting up and running a test and demo program

Install the BRMDemo program
on your PC

Start the BRMDemo program.

Under Settings, click on the COM
Port button.

Under COM-ADR1 and COM-
ADR2 set the addresses for the
first or the first two readers.

Confirm with OK

Under Settings click on the Timer
button.

Set the timer Timebase to
approx. 100 ms.

Confirm with OK

Clear the reader buffer by
clicking on the Reset BRM
button.

Start the request by clicking on
the Start BRM button.

Test each antenna with a
transponder.
The transponder should be displayed in the Data Window.
Depending on the Valid Time set in the reader, the
transponder will be displayed at the set interval.

Attach the two measuring loops
in one antenna each of the first
two readers.
