Attention! Risk of material damage!
Only use suitable solvents (resin remover) to clean the cutterblock, which do not affect the mechanical proper-
ties of the cutterblock material.
11.7.2 Instructions for use and maintenance
11.7.3 Changing/replacing inserts
1.
Every carbide insert is equipped with 4 cutting edges
which are marked with F/1/2/3.
When mounting the carbide inserts always ensure that
the blades are used with the same label.
2.
No further adjustments are required. Make sure
that the carbide inserts are positioned in the pocket
properly and screwed in tightly.
1.
Loosen the clamping screw and remove from the
thread.
2.
Remove carbide insert from the pocket and clean the
pocket with compressed air.
3.
Clean pocket with suitable cleaning agent (resin
remover). It is recommended to use a small cleaning
brush (toothbrush) or a cotton swab.
4.
Clean carbide insert thoroughly with a suitable
cleaning agent eg. resin remover (take care of the
built-up cutting edge, remove any resin residues).
5.
Place the carbide insert into the pocket.
6.
Check the clamping screws for damages on the
thread, clamping surface and tool holder (Torx T20)
and clean them (replace broken screws immediately).
7.
Screw the clamping screw without moving the carbide
insert.
8.
Tighten the clamping screw gently at first, then tighten
it with a torque wrench with a torque of 5 Nm.
Warning! Risk of injury! / Risk of material damage!
If a torque wrench is not used to fix the carbide inserts, it could lead to a damaged finish of the surface or
become a safety risk!

In order to achieve optimal results, the cutter exchange must be in compliance with the following procedure.
