5 MAINTENANCE - STORAGE - ASSISTANCE - DISPOSAL
NOTES
Routine maintenance operations which can be performed by the user are described
below.
Have the machine repaired by expert personnel only. This machine complies with all
the relevant safety prescriptions. Repairs to the machine must be carried out by skilled
personnel only using original spare parts. Failure to observe this recommendation could
jeopardize user safety.
DANGER - WARNING
• BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE WORK, PLACE THE MACHINE
IN SAFETY CONDITIONS, (SEE HEADING “GENERAL SAFETY RULES”).
• PLACE THE POWER CABLE IN A COIL NEAR THE MACHINE.
5.1.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE SAW BLADE (Fig. 3 - 4 – 8)
DANGER - WARNING
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES.
Tools required:
- Appropriate Allen keys and/or Phillips screwdrivers are needed to replace the blade.
Check the compatibility of the used blade
NOTES
Use of used blades is not recommended.
However, in the case of necessity, check that the blade is intact and shows no obvious
signs of wear.
Check the compatibility of the NEW blade
NOTES
The characteristics of the blade must be compatible with the technical specifi cations
indicated in the relative appendix.
a. Slacken the handle (24) and slide the blade guide (23) up to the travel stop in the direction
shown in the fi gure;
b. Remove the safety guard (41 - Fig. 10) by unscrewing the relative fi xing screws.
DANGER - WARNING
WHEN THE SAFETY GUARD IS OPENED, THE BLADE MAY JUMP OUT.
