1.7 Troubleshooting
Crop material goes over the table auger.
Cause(s)
Solution(s)
Pickup is running too fast
Slow the pickup down so the pickup is pushing the
swath a small amount.
Header height too high or too low
Adjust the header height to 300 mm (12 in)
measured from the ground to the center of the rear
draper roller.
Fiberglass rods not adjusted correctly
Adjust the direction of the rod tube so the tips of
the rods are close sufficient to the draper belts to
prevent crop from going over the table auger.
Swath forms a ball and rolls to the side and falls off the end of the pickup.

Pickup is running too fast.
Slow the pickup down so the pickup is pushing the
swath a small amount.
Light crop is flowing forward and the fingers cannot
move the swath rearward.
Add optional hold down performance kit.
Crop material is damaged by the header.
Cause(s)
Solution(s)
Pickup is running too fast.
Slow the pickup down so the pickup is pushing the
swath a small amount.
Hold down is not adjusted correctly.
Raise the hold down assembly high sufficient to
clear the swath.
Crop material is left in the field.

Pickup teeth are set too high.
Raise the wheels to lower the pickup height.
Hold down not adjusted correctly.
Raise the hold down assembly high sufficient to
clear the swath.
Header height is too low.
Adjust the header height to 300 mm (12 in)
measured from the ground to the center of the rear
draper roller.
Pickup is running too fast and breaking the swath
up.
Slow the pickup down so the pickup is pushing the
swath a small amount.
