5. REMEMBER
• Do not wear loose long hair, loose clothing
or jewellery, which could become caught up
in moving parts of the tool and cause injuries
and clothing damages.
• A switched-on tool may be directed towards
the work material only. Loose parts may
disunite and cause damages. A person or an
object may become in contact with the tool,
which could cause an accident or material
loses.
• Cold or wet hands, smoking and snivel may
increase vibration caused hazards.
• Let the tool operate and by holding the hand
-
le use the least possible force. If possible, the
tool should be supported on a stable support
block.
• Interruption of work should be ensured or
another kind of work, not involving use of
vibrating tools should be alternatively perfor-
med, in order to reduce the harmful influence
caused by the vibration.
• Ensure that the workplace is well lit.
6. IMPORTANT
The tool should be lubricated
The tool should be lubricated before use, by
dropping some drops of pneumatic tool oil
AIRTOIL 22 (Luna 14878-0109). In case of
long-term use the tool should be lubricated
with a pneumatic lubricating (Luna 20571-
0106) device which is set for approximately
two drops per minute. If the tool is not used for
a longer period of time, it is required to drop a
few drops of oil before storage of the tool, in
order to reduce the corrosion risk.
Attention!
Use only oil that is sup
-
posed for pneumatic tools specified
in the operation instructions. Use of
other oils may result in “clumping”
of oil and reduction of the movement
ability of the machine. It may cause
reduced work efficiency.
Leakages must be avoided
Avoid leakages in the air circulation system.
Always use a thread sealing tape at the point
where the pipe is connected to the tool. Pay
attention that hoses and hose fastening clamps
are in good working order.
The compressed air must be dry
As cleaner and dryer the compressed air is,
the longer is service life of the tool. In order
to ensure it, we recommend use of air filter,
which removes water from the compressed
air, accordingly reducing eventual damages of
the tool and connections caused by corrosion.
Remember to remove eventual water conden-
sate from the compressor and the compressed
air supply system before each working day.
7. INSTRUCTIONS
• Under no circumstances a defective drilling
machine or drill bit can be used as it may
cause injuries and material loses.
• Before use, please, take the plastic cork out
of air inlet and assemble a male nipple 1/4”.
Be sure the drill chuck is properly assembled.
• Air pressure should be checked and if neces
-
sary be adjust, in order to make the air drill
work with correct rotation speed. The pressu-
re is adjusted with the help of the compressor
regulator or by a separate assembled pressure
regulator. The rotation speed is adjusted by
means of the step less trigger. Tools parame-
ters are indicated at pressure of 6.2 bars.
• In order to achieve better work result, always
use perfectly sharpened drill bits. Never press
drill bits in the working material harder or
less hard than provide by the maximum force
of the drill bit rotation.
• The air drill must always be disconnected
from the compressed air supply, when repla-
cing drill bits. It will allow avoid eventual
accident, which could be caused by uninten-
tional touch of the trigger and start the chuck
rotation when replacing a core bit.
