5.2 Using the depth gauge (See B)
The depth gauge can be used to set a constant
depth to the drill. Rotate the locking screw on
the top of the handle anti-clockwise to loosen,
insert the depth stop into the handle. Adjust it
to the desired depth. Rotate the locking screw
clockwise to tighten.
5.3 Fitting sds tools (See C)
Clean the bit shank and apply grease before
installing the bit. Hold the rotary grip, pull
back the lock sleeve and insert the SDS tool
into the bit holder. Turn the bit and push it in
until a resistance is felt, the shaft drops com-
pletely into bit holder. Once you are satisfied it
has seated, release the black lock sleeve. This
should lock the SDS tool into position.
After installing always make sure that the tool
is securely held in bit holder by trying to pull
it out.
If the SDS tool is not located repeat the instal-
lation operation again.
5.4 Insert and remove sds too (See C)
To remove the tool, pull back the locking
sleeve, hold and pull the tool out.
5.5 Operating the on/off switch (See D)
Press the on/off switch for operation and rele-
ase it to stop.
5.6 Hammer drill function (See E, F)

lock button (5) and rotate the selector switch
