Modifying the saw or using it outside its intended use may
give rise to hazards not mentioned.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
1. Know your Power tool. Read carefully these instruc-
tions prior to operating this tool. Be aware of all poten-
tial hazards and risks.
2. Protect agalnst electric shock. Prevent body contact
with earthed appliances for example pipes, radiators
etc.
3. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and workben-
ches invite accidents to happen.
4. Only operate in a clean dry environment. Do not use in
a damp environment or expose to rain. Also keep work
area well lit
5. Keep out if reach of children. Do not let children or
uninformed people operate this saw. Always be aware
or bystanders when operating the saw.
6. Store in a safe place when not in use. Leaving the saw
in an operable state when not being used will invite un-
trained persons to start the saw.
7. Do not force the tool. Using this saw for its intended
purpose means that no unnecessary pressure is required
to conduct a cut. If excessive force is needed then so-
mething is wrong. For instance the blade is blunt or the
material is not suitable for cutting with this saw.
8. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing neckties or
jewellery when operating this saw. Also tie back long
hair.
9. Always wear safety glasses. Be aware of flying debris.
Remember normal glasses are not safety glasses and
should not be used as such.
10. Wear a dust mask. Air bome dust generated from this
machine during cutting operations can cause damage to
your lungs.
11. Wear ear defenders. Protect your hearing by using ear
defenders.
12. Maintain a good balance. Do not over reach, keep a
good footing at all times. Do not use the saw up a lad-
der or on an unstable surface.
13. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and clean
for a better and safer performance.
14. Remove adjusting tools and keys before starting up the
saw.
15. Check for damaged parts. Before starting ensure the
tool is in good order. Remove and replace and broken
items which show signs of damage or wear. Always let
an trained person dismantle the saw.
16. Be aware how to stop the saw before starting. Never
start a machine without being certain how to stop it.
