Model 35-ITA Incubator Transporter
4.2 Undercarriage Control Handles
There are three control handles on the transporter: control-end upper
(B) and lower control handles (C), and the side control handle (F).
Operating any control handle will unlock the undercarriage and allow
the operators to raise or lower the transporter. Release the control
handle to engage the undercarriage lock.
The control-end operator selects the most ergonomic control handle
based on the operator’s height and the task at hand (Figure 3). Firmly
grasp the main frame (D) or lift frame (E) before operating a control
handle.
Use the side control handle (F) when the operator is standing on the
right side of the transporter grasping the main frame (Figure 4).
4 - FEATURES
4.1 Fold-Down Frame
The load end of the main frame folds down to shorten the length of the
transporter. Shorten the transporter only when it is in position 5 or 6.
To shorten the transporter, place the transporter in position 5 or 6. Slide
the lock sleeves (A) toward the load end of the transporter, and push the
frame down (Figure 2).
To return the main frame to the extended position, pull the folded frame
up until the lock sleeves snap over and lock the hinges.
NOTICE
Operators should expect and be prepared to control the
normal downward movement of the transporter which
occurs when a control handle is squeezed.
