CONGRATULATIONS ON HAVING CHOSEN THE BLUFLOW MOVEMENT PUMP BY FERPLAST. Ferplast pumps are
completely submersible and have been designed to ensure total respect for the health of the fish and plants in your
aquarium, with the utmost simplicity of use and in absolute safety.
PRELIMINARY WARNINGS
Before carrying out any installation, please read the
following instructions carefully to ensure your safety
and prevent damage to the product.
• Ensure that the voltage shown on the appliance
corresponds to that of your home electrical power
supply.
• The power supply cable cannot be repaired or
replaced: if damaged, the whole appliance must be
replaced.
• In case of abnormal odour or excessive noise,
disconnect the unit from the power supply and verify
the cause. Contact the shopkeeper.
• Connect the plugs to your electric power supply
leaving a loop in the cable below the electrical socket
to prevent drops of water running down the cable and
into the power supply (

).
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
before carrying out any maintenance work.
• Do not connect the aquarium to the power supply
before correctly completing all the installation
procedures, including filling with water.
• The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 35° C.
• The pump must be completely submerged when
working.
• This appliance is intended only for indoor use
• Before switching on make sure your home is protected
by an automatic safety breaker switch (or individual
breaker plug) with an operating current of no more
than 30 mA.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
IMPORTANT
- Within the European Union, a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the
product, documentation or packaging indicates that the product cannot be disposed of in
the regular household waste stream, in compliance with EU Directive 2012/19/EC and
with current local regulations. The product must be disposed of at recycling centres or
authorised waste disposal centres for electrical and electronic equipment, in accordance with current
legislation in the country where the product is found. Incorrect disposal of this type of waste can have
a negative impact on the environment and human health, caused by the potentially hazardous
substances produce by electrical and electronic equipment. Correct disposal of these products will
also contribute to the efficient use of natural resources. Further information is available from the
product retailer, the competent local authorities and national manufacturer’s organisations.
This pump has been designed to recreate turbulence inside the aquarium, in order to imitate the
natural environment and promote plants growth and fish health. It is especially helpful in presence
of marine corals, since turbulences promote their food assimilation

Fix the magnet to the glass wall of your aquarium;

Insert the pivot of the magnet into the hexagonal hole in the rear part of the pump.

Make sure that the pump is completely submerged and adjust its orientation as desired.
IMPORTANT
: the magnetic base is to be used in glass of no more than 8 mm thickness (

).
MAINTENANCE
- BLUFLOW pump does not require any special maintenance. To ensure a correct
working it is just needed a regular cleaning.

Always disconnect the plug from the power supply before removing the pump from the water or
carrying out any maintenance.

Remove the pump cover from the body of the motor.
·
Take out the rotor and clean it with a soft brush and warm water (DO NOT use detergents or
abrasives).

Reassemble the pump.
Clean the pump at least once a month. Depending on the water conditions a more frequent cleaning
might be necessary
GUARANTEE
- This product, all its parts and accessories are covered by warranty within the limits
provided for in this paragraph and the legal regulations currently in force. The guarantee only covers
manufacturing defects and includes the repair or replacement of the product free of charge. The
guarantee does not cover damage and/or defects caused by carelessness, wear, unsuitable usage not
complying with the instructions and warnings in this manual, accidents, tampering, incorrect use,
bad repair work or purchases not accompanied by a fiscal receipt.
