DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE
You can return to “Normal” mode (or
“
SPORT”
if this mode was active) either
by requesting a gearshift or holding the
AUTO
switch pressed down until the
“AUTO” warning light goes off.
When stopping the vehicle, if you request
N
,
1
st
or
R,
this will not cause the system
to switch from “AUTO” to “Normal”
mode.
It is advisable to deactivate other driving
modes before selecting “AUTO” mode.
“SPORT” mode
It is activated by operating the switch
F
.
The “SPORT” warning light will light up
on the dashboard.
To switch back from “
SPORT”
to
“Normal” mode, operate the switch
again.
Since “
SPORT”
mode
has a lower priority
than “LOW GRIP” and “AUTO” modes,
if these are already active when “
SPORT”
mode is activated, the system will
ignore the command even if the relevant
warning light comes on.
CAUTION
“SPORT”
mode is characterised by a
stiffening of the suspensions and faster
gearshifting compared to “Normal”
mode.
Gearshifting will be “faster” if requested
with the accelerator pedal fully depressed
and at over 7000 RPM, approximately.
In these conditions, the driving wheels
may start to skid even on a dry road
surface (particularly in low gears).
