ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE
The key switch has two positions:
1)
passenger airbag active: (position
ON
) instrument panel warning light
off;
it is prohibited to carry children
on the passenger seat.
2)
passenger-side airbag deactivated:
(position
OFF
) warning light
A
on;
children can travel in the passenger
seat if they are suitably protected by
specific restraint systems.
The warning light
A
on the central
control panel remains permanently on
until the passenger airbag is reactivated.
With the door open, the key can be
inserted and extracted in both positions.
REAR-VIEW MIRRORS
Interior rear view mirror
This can be adjusted manually.
To set the mirror in the anti-dazzle
position, push lever
A
forward.
CAUTION
If the passenger-side airbag is
deactivated, because you are carrying
a passenger who is considered by the
laws in force to be at risk and who
must therefore use supplementary
restraining systems, this passenger will
not have the additional protection of
the airbag in the event of a collision.
Only deactivate the airbag when a
person at risk is being carried, and
always reactivate it at the end of the
journey.
