ROOF
The
“Roof Unknown”
condition is also
activated if the ignition key is turned
to position
II
when the roof is not fully
closed or open.
This condition occurs also if the safety
handle A is released.
In this condition, the amber warning light
D
illuminates on the instrument panel.
To prevent excessive power absorption
through the battery, do not operate the
switch when the engine is off.
OPENING SEQUENCE
•
Open the locks on the windscreen
cross member by operating the handle
A
.
•
Push the toggle switch
B
backward,
to start opening the roof: the entire
action takes approximately 10 seconds.
•
The side windows lower fully (they
cannot be operated until the procedure
has been completed).
•
When the roof has reached the fully
open position, the windows move
back up. During this last stage, the
toggle switch
B
can be released and
the cycle may be considered completed
once the rear locks
E
have secured the
roof in position on the the luggage
compartment lid. The buzzer will
sound to indicate the end of cycle.
The opening cycle can be stopped and
the closing cycle started simply by
reversing the position of the toggle switch
B
.
