Removing the EPB electric parking brake shoes
The following procedure is for removing the rear right hand wheel brake shoes.
With the exception of the specific steps indicated, the procedure for removing the rear left hand wheel brake shoes is the same.
Only for vehicles with DCT gearbox. Disable the EPB electric parking brake Autohold function (
D3.07
).
Only for vehicles with mechanical gearbox. Disengage the electric parking brake (EPB).
Remove the wheels (
D2.01
).
Remove the rear ones.
Remove the brake discs (
D3.03
).
Remove the rear ones.
Remove the rear flat undertray section (
E3.12
).
Use a suitable screwdriver to prise the clip
(1)
off the EPB linkage
bracket.
Detach the end

of the right hand EPB Bowden cable
