the correct orientation. Check the blade (20) is level with the holder (18).
Re-tighten the 3 screws (19) again using the supplied 8mm wrench (15).
Before starting, rotate by hand to check the blade drum (17) is free to
rotate.
After the blades (20) are replaced, use a ruler to check if the blades (20) are
parallelled with the rear base plate (8). (See Fig. L7) If not, you can adjust
the blades (20) with the 2.5mm hex key (16) provided. Firstly loosen the
three clamping screws (19) on the blade holder (18). Turn the socket head
screw (21) clockwise, the blade (20) will now rise. Turn the socket head
screw (21) anti-clockwise, the blade (20) will lower down. Finally retighten
the three screws (19) fully.
2. Replacing a drive belt (See Fig. M1-M4)
WARNING:
• Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any adjustment, servicing or
maintenance.
• The cutting blades will be turning and may
cause injury.
• Always put on gloves when undertaking this maintenance task.
Loosen the 3 screws (b) and remove the belt cover (5) (See Fig. M1-M3).
Remove the worn drive belt from the large drive pulley (c) and small pulley
(d). Before installing the new drive belt, clean both pulleys thoroughly.
Place the new drive belt (e) onto the drive pulley and turn it manually by
rotating clockwise while pushing the belt onto the large pulley (c). Make
sure the drive belt runs exactly along the length grooves of the small
