SUN M50 - M70
Cod. 35447686 - 04/2008 (Rev. 00)
Checks and adjustments during operation
• Connect a combustion analyser to the boiler outlet and leave the burner working at max. for 10
minutes; meanwhile, check the efficiency of the fume exhaust duct.
• Carry out the combustion check and possible adjustment firstly in 2nd stage and then in 1st stage.
• Slowly adjust the gas valve (see fig. 7) until obtaining the required excess air value for operation,
checking the O
2
in the fumes with a combustion analyser. The O
2
content in the fumes must not be
less than 2.5% (risk of polluting combustion) and must not exceed 5%.
• Carry out several lightings in succession. In case of flame flickering or difficult lighting, also adjust
the air by means of the servomotor cams, making sure to always check the O
2
in the fumes with a
combustion analyser.
• Make sure the pressure in the combustion chamber is that indicated by the boiler manufacturer
• Do a complete analysis of the combustion fumes and check compliance with the limits set by current
standards.
