7.2
Transportation
The machine can be transported with the aid of vehicles and/or industrial vehicles, such as
trucks with sufficient size to contain the machine itself. The machine must be suitably
anchored to the means of transport (for example, through the aid of ropes).
During transport, the machine must be protected from rain, snow, hail, wind, and any other
adverse weather conditions. In this regard, it is advisable to use means of transport with
closed compartments (vans, trucks etc.) or possibly covered with tarpaulin.
7.3
Warehouse storage
In the event that the machine is to be stored and unused for some time before being put into
service again, proceed as follows:
1.
Disconnect the electrical power;
2.
Protect machined parts (such as rails, the carriage and tool carrier slide, spindle,
tailstock quill, etc.) with protective fluid and/or grease;
3.
keep in a dry place, protected from dust and contaminants. Climatic conditions
recommended for storage:
Temperature:
- 5° / + 55° C;
Humidity:
95% (non-condensing).
Warehouse storage
Make sure the Lathe is protected from knocks and vibrations.
