4.1
Mounting of the camera system
4.1.1
Mounting of the SBRD-Q controller
The SBRD-Q controller can be mounted as follows:
On an H-rail
With 2 M4 screws in the fastening holes of the housing
Position the SBRD-Q controller so that the ventilation grille is arrayed horizontally. This ensures air flow
through the device from bottom to top as well as possible.
4.1.2
Mounting of SBPB camera head
There is a threaded hole pattern on the bottom of the SBPB camera head. Use only
the SBAMC11-CP mounting kit

Use only the screws and toothed discs provided. Always use toothed discs. Pay attention to thread
length.
Mount the camera head with the help of the adapter kit so that it is aligned on the inspection part
suitably and without obstacle

Observe that the distance between camera and inspection part is adapted to the optics.
In case of high ambient temperatures, mount the camera head on a cool surface.
A functional earth connection is present on the mounting plate of the SBAM camera. Connect this to
earth potential with low impedance.
4.1.3
Mounting of NEBC connecting cable
Plug the NEBC connection cable on the controller side into the connection X7 or X9.
Plug the NEBC connecting cable into the USB-compatible connection on the back of the camera and
secure it against loosening with the corresponding locking screws.
Ensure permanent strain relief on both sides.
Do not use narrow cable binders for mounting, as otherwise the internal structure of the cable can
be damaged.
Secure plug connector at SBRD-Q controller and at the SBPB camera head so it will not be accident
ally unplugged or loosened (e.g. through vibration).
