During continuous operation:
briefl y press the
on/off switch
[2-3]
.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Rebound, ejected parts
Before setting down the machine, wait until
the rotating tool has come to a complete stop.
9.2 Control
electronics
Increases productivity, life service of the grinder,
comfort at work, as well as quality and safety of
work. Provides the following functions:
Protection against re-start
If power failure occurs during work (if the mobile
power supply plug is pulled out, if circuit breaker
fails, etc.), and the switch stays locked in the ON
position, the machine does not turn on automati-
cally once the power supply recovers. To restart
the grinder, its switch needs to be turned off fi rst
and then turned on again.
Slow start
After the grinder is turned on, control electronics
secures gradual start to operating rpm, without
pointless strokes. This reduces wear of gearing,
thus increasing the life service of the grinder.
Starting current limiting
The electronically controlled smooth start takes
care that the machine starts without jerk. As a
result of the machine’s reduced starting current,
a 10 A fuse is suffi cient.
Protection in case of disk locking
When cutting disk is used for cutting, it may get
locked in the cut. To reduce the risk of injury or
burning of the machine, the electronics reacts to
rapid growth of load by turning the engine off. For
restart turn the machine off and then on again.
9.3 Aperture
cover
If you wish to see the cutting area, take off the
aperture cover
[2-1]
.
Only handle this cover when
the disc is not running.
Be careful about spattering dust particles.
10 Service and maintenance
WARNING
Risk of accident, electric shock
Always pull the plug out of the socket before
performing any type of work on the machine.
All maintenance and repair work which re-
quires the motor housing to be opened, must
only be carried out by an authorised service
workshop.
- Wrapped electric tools can be stored in a dry
place without heating, with temperatures not
lower than –5°C. Unwrapped electric tools can
only be stored in dry places with temperatures
not lower than +5°C, without sudden changes
in the temperature.
-
To ensure the airfl ow is suffi cient, cooling
openings of the motor must be always clean
and free.
-
The machine is equipped with special self-
disconnecting brushes. When the brushes are
worn, the power supply is automatically discon-
nected, and the machine is stopped.
-
If the suction fl ange height adjustment system
does not operate smoothly, the fl ange must be
removed and cleaned.
