Do not Disturb

You can turn off the do not disturb function of the VoIP telephone simply by pressing
a key, for example if you do not wish to be disturbed during a meeting.

1.

To  activate  the  do  not  disturb  function;  press  the  key      for  about  a  second
whilst in idle mode until the display appears in Figure 33. The telephone reacts to
an  incoming  call  depending  on  how  this  feature  is  configured  at  the  time.  For
further details on how to configure the do not disturb feature, see chapter 3.8.3
on page 121.

2.

To deactivate the do not disturb function again; press the key   again for about
a  second  until  the  signalling  in  the  display  is  deleted.  Afterwards  the  telephone
will respond to calls in the usual way again.

Different Types of Call Numbers

In addition to normal call numbers, your IP telephone can also dial H.323 names and
IP addresses.

Call numbers consisting of characters other than the digits 0 to 9 and the characters
*  and  #  are  considered  to  be  H.323  names.  Call  numbers  beginning  with  the
character  @  are  always  regarded  as  H.323  names.  The  character  @  is  removed
before dialling however.
