PROBLEM FOUND
The front light flashes
during tightening
The Low and High LEDs continue
to flash when the screwdriver is
connected to the TPU
The TPU indicates a NOK
result for each tightening
operation (red X activates)
The screwdriver heats up
abnormally
The clutch does not trigger
correctly (the tool stalls)
PART B: possible issues NOT associated with SMART PRO programming
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The scheduled maintenance
deadline has been reached
Tool recognition failed
The torque exceeds the
maximum permissible value
for the model being used
The screwdriver is configured for
PTS (push to start) use, option
2: PTS (push-to-start) released
before the end of the cycle
The torque exceeds the maximum
limit for the screwdriver, or the
cycle frequency is too high (see
the Operation and Maintenance
Manual)
The torque exceeds the
maximum limit for the
screwdriver
Check that the TPU is not set to
LO speed
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Carry out scheduled maintenance
(or reset the front light by following
the instructions in the Operation
and Maintenance Manual)
Switch off the system and then
switch it back on
Use the clutch to bring the torque
within the permissible range if
possible
Hold the screwdriver pushed
(PTS activated) and only release it
when tightening is finished
Reduce the working torque,
increase the pauses after
tightening, assess changing to an
eTensil model with a higher torque
range
Reduce the working torque if
possible, or assess changing to an
eTensil model with a higher torque
range
Return it to HI speed if possible
