240 V fuse
A fault current protection switch (FI-switch) in the fuse box protects the com-
plete vehicle from fault current (0.03 A). A downstream safety cut-out (10 A)
(Fig. 76,2) secures the 240 V power supply.
Checking the fault current
protection switch:
When the vehicle is connected to the 240 V power supply, press the test
button (Fig. 76,1). The fault current protection switch must trip.
Position
Depending on the model and level of equipment, the 240 V fuse can be fitted
in the following places:
z
In the wardrobe
z
In the lower cupboard of the kitchen
z
In the seat box of the lengthwise seat
Z
Check the fault current protection switch for each connection to the 240 V
power supply, at least once every 6 months.

The dimensions, the number of safety cut-outs, and the triggering value of
the safety cut-outs of the fuse box may differ from the shown type. The ver-
sion of the fuse box depends on the model, the equipment and the country
in which the vehicle is put into circulation.
