7 Work on the machine
7.1 Adjusting the working height
•
Setting the float position:
lower the leaf and litter vacuum machine by briefly pressing the “Lower” button
•
set the brush roller on the chassis:
for adjusting the working height, the vehicle must be positioned on a level place
that is characteristically the place to be cleaned
(sinking into moist ground is possible)
if the device has not been used before, the spacers must be distributed equally
below or above the wheel bearings (see Section 4.3)
then move the vehicle for a metre with the device
now start the device and let it run for 10 secs.
lift the device and reposition the vehicle
the already processed surface must be clearly visible and should be visibly raked
approx. 5mm deep
if this is not possible, the spacers can be used
to change the height upwards or downwards
7.2 Removing blockages
WARNING!
Risk of injury in the cutter blade area!
never touch the cutter channel with bare hands it is imperative to ensure that the leaf
pick-up system can neither be turned hydraulically nor manually with the help of
tools
Tough branches can cause blockages in the area of the suction hopper and collecting
hose
1. switch off the machine
2. switch off the ignition, secure the vehicle against toppling over
