Safety measures and instructions

Before the first use of this product, read the instructions below and check whether:
- The power supply cable sheath is safely secured by a terminal.
- The extension cable sheath is not damaged.
- The cable(s) is/are led so that risk of damage or accidental switch-off is eliminated.
- The power supply cable is unreeled from the coil completely so that not to get overheated.

WARNING!

Do not overlook!

When switching-on the equipment supplied by alternating electric power, you may notice a
short voltage drop. This drop may influence even other devices (for instance flickering of
lights). However, if alternating electric supply current impedance (Zmax) is less than 0.40
Ohm at 50Hz, there is no fear of this failure. Contact your local electricity supplier for more
information.

Use an extension cable for outdoor applications

When using the shredder outdoors, use only extension cables intended for outdoor
applications for connecting to the mains.

Keep the working area clean!
