Installation Requirements
Calculating Current Draw and Standby Battery
1. The FACP can only support 5 devices w/LED’s on. This current draw is added to the panels alarm current.
2. IDP-Beam-T draws a maximum of 500mA from Auxiliary power only when the test feature is used. This should be consid-
ered when determining auxiliary power capacity but not calculated into current requirements for day to day operation.
3. The FIK-2351R is sold separately from the DNR. Current draw for the DNR + FIK-2351R is calculated by increasing the
“Number of Devices” column for each FIK-2351R used with a DNR.
4. The DNR housing does not include a Relay circuit board. If a relay is needed, be sure to add one to the FIK-M500R and
FIK-2351R “Number of Devices” column for each DNR used for correct current calculations.
5. If you use the door holders, you do not need to consider the door holder current for the alarm/battery standby, because the
power is removed during that time. However, during normal operation, the door holders draw current and must be included
in the 6.0A total current that can be drawn from the panel.
